A conscious dance practice that incorporates

trauma-informed healing and centers BIPOC experiences.

INTEGRATE | Sanctuary is a fun, deep and intentional safe-enough space for POC to experience solidarity, heal, process, grieve, celebrate, build resilience, and transcend racialized trauma, and the separation we feel from each other as human beings.

We believe in the healing power of sound and movement. We’re committed to healing our own racialized trauma in order to co-create truly liberatory, integrated and supportive dance spaces. We stand for uplifting ancient wisdom streams in our quest for collective liberation. We need each other. We cherish the opportunity to come together, give and receive support, and celebrate the full spectrum of the human experience.

Facilitation Team

  • Atasieā is a Theta Healer, Reiki Master, Bodyworker, Yogi, Minister, Dancing Freedom Facilitator, Actor, Dancer, Capoeirista, and the Co-Founder of Ecstatic Dance Los Angeles.

    Atasiea- is pronounced (‘Ah-tah-see-ay’). It means- 'Oneness'.

    He was born & raised in Oakland California, trained there, and in Los Angeles, Brazil, UK, and Central America. He co-founded and co-produces Ecstatic Dance Los Angeles- an all ages sober conscious dance celebration held weekly in LA. He also has a private practice called- Angelic Presence Healing with Atasiea- where he facilitates Reiki trainings, Theta healing, massage, coaching, intuitive readings, spiritual guidance counseling, and ceremonial work.

    As an intuitive healer, he provides physical, emotional, and psycho-spiritual support to all people through energy work, bodywork, channeling, coaching, conscious dance & ceremony. He has a special interest in making holistic healing experiences more accessible to People of the Global Majority aka BIPOC folks who are often underrepresented in his community & industry.

  • Odessa is a somatic psychotherapist, embodiment and social justice educator with an MA in Somatic Psychology from CIIS (California Institute of Integral Studies). Her mission is to help folks heal trauma and find belonging and right relationship through deeper embodiment, dance and healing.

    She has over two decades of dance and contact improv experience and has been teaching and facilitating body-based healing spaces for over 10 years. She offers workshops and retreats throughout California and internationally, weaving relational learning with movement exploration and social justice frameworks.

    She is of mixed descent, with lineage from Europe and Borikén (aka Puerto Rico), and is in the ongoing and active embodied dismantling of white supremacy, and reclaiming of her boricua indigeneity for the liberation and healing of herself and her ancestors.

    Odessa has a psychotherapy private practice based in Los Angeles aka Kizh/Tongva land where she sees couples and individuals in person and remotely. She is the Inclusion and Belonging co-lead for SoulPlay Festivals and collaborates with Wren LaFeet on Dance Your Medicine retreats.
